Outdoor Lighting Design for Vinings, Georgia

Homes along the Paces Ferry Road corridor and the Chattahoochee riverfront tend to sit on larger, more heavily wooded lots than comparable properties across the river in Buckhead — exactly the kind of acreage that rewards a layered approach over a single porch light and a couple of floods. We treat the driveway approach, the tree line, and the river-facing elevation as separate design problems that still need to work together as one composition.

Closer to Historic Vinings village and the Pace House, homes carry real architectural age, and a lighting plan that's too bright or too blue will flatten exactly the character that makes the area distinct. We take the same restrained, warm-toned approach there that we use in other historic Atlanta-area neighborhoods.
